Britain’s biggest family The Radfords have installed security cameras after an intruder tried to break in to their home.

Sue, 45, and 48-year-old Noel Radford, from Morecambe, have 22 children and recently became grandparents for the sixth time.

Speaking on their YouTube channel, the family did a video on fans’ biggest assumptions.

One assumption sent in by a fan was that the family want to move because they no longer feel safe in their home, The Sun reports.

Noel said: “This is to do with the fact that somebody was in the garden and tried the windows a couple of months ago.

“But since then we’ve had security cameras fitted so we feel quite safe.”

Sue added: “We have a good security system now, but before that we didn’t. There were quite a few things that had been bothering us.”

In July, the family’s sheepdog Lola had alerted them to the midnight burglary.

The family was left terrified that someone was coming into their home through a basement bedroom, where mum-of-one Millie, 19, who was heavily pregnant at the time, sleeps.

Sue said she ran down and turned the light on and saw two burglars running away, with one pushing the other into the car before driving off with the car doors still open.

She said at the time: “I said ‘Thank God for Lola’ as she knew something was going on.”

Sue said in the Youtube session: “For the past few months I’m no going to lie I’ve wanted to move – for lots of reason that I’m not sure I’m going to share yet but for now I’m hoping this will help”.

The married couple are parents to Chris, 30, Sophie, 26, Chloe, 25, Jack, 22, Daniel, 20, Luke, 19, Millie, 19, Katie, 17, James, 16, Ellie, 14, Aimee, 13, Josh, 12, Max, 11, Tillie, nine, Oscar, eight, Casper, seven, Hallie, four, Phoebe, three, Archie, two, and Bonnie, one and Heidi Rose, five months.

Their 17th child Alfie was stillborn in 2014.

They first shot to fame in TV Channel Four documentary, 15 Kids and Counting and since then they have regularly fed their fans news about their vast family through TV programmes and their own YouTube channel.

During the Q&A session, the family were asked if they were having any more children.

Sue replied: “We have both decided that we don’t want more children. This time we are definitely done! Heidi is definitely the last! That’s that.”

Noel added: “There will be no more little Radfords, not from us anyway.”

It’s not the first time an intruder has tried to break in to the Radfords’ family home

The couple currently live with 19 of their children in a 10-bedroom house which they bought for £240,000 in 2004.

But there was a suggestion that they could leave the three-storey building which was converted from a former care home.

Sue said: “I think a while back I did really want to move house, before we did the house up. But since doing the house up were not moving and actually we’ve got plans for the house, quite big plans.

“We will be sharing them with you once the architect does his thing.”

Sue and Noel famously rely on their own bakery business and do not claim any benefits apart from Child Benefit.

Noel recently revealed that the family are due to feature in another documentary about their life, following on from the two previous efforts which were aired on Channel Four.
