Poco on Tuesday launched its budget handset — the Poco C3 with triple camera setup and 5000mAh battery at a starting priced of Rs 7,499 for the 3GB/32GB storage variant. The device arrives with a two-tone design and is the most affordable triple-camera phone in the market right now. The Poco C3 would be available for purchase during Flipkart’s Big Billion Days that starts October 16 at an introductory price of Rs 7,499 and Rs 8,999 for the 3/32GB and 4/64GB variants, respectively.
“With Poco, the focus on quality is unwavering. Even with the #POCOC3, you get the Poco quality. From TUV certified reading mode to splash resistance to the much loved Poco clean experience,” Anuj Sharma, Country Director, Poco India, said in a statement.
Protecting the entire body of the smartphone is P2i’s nano-coating, which makes the smartphone resistant to accidental splashes. Additionally, the display is reading mode certified by TÜV Rheinland, meaning there will be reduced stress on the eyes when using the phone for long durations.
Users, for the first time in this price segment, would get a triple camera setup as the Poco C3 comes with an AI triple camera setup comprising of a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
According to the handset maker, with ‘Better Battery’ 2.0 technology, users can expect extended longevity of the battery. The Poco C3 would be able to go through more charging/discharging cycles — up to 25 per cent extra cycles — compared to devices in its range.
The Poco POCO C3 is powered by the MediaTek® Helio™ G35 8-core processor with Cortex-A53 cores clocked up to 2.3GHz. Along with the massive 5000mAh high-capacity battery, POCO C3 strikes a balance between performance and efficiency.
